Dharamsala: Tsering Dhondup, former secretary of Department of Religion and culture took the charges of Tibetan Supreme Justice Commissioner as he took the oath in front of His Holiness the Dalai Lama this morning.
Later in the day, the enthronement ceremony took place at the Kashag hall in the presence of higher authority from the Judiciary, Legislative and Executive body of Tibetan diaspora.
Tsering Dhondup has served the Tibetan community in exile in many capacity for more than last 30 years, in which he has also served the TSJC as a member of Judiciary code committee and looking forward to bring amendments in the three series of texts, that serves as the backbone of exile Judiciary body.
Reacting to his newly appointment says" I am looking forward to bring some changes in the main three reference text of TSJC and to do the justice to the one who take the benefits of democratic society. One has to have a full witness to prove his allegation, otherwise it won't succeed"
