National Democratic Party of Tibet to hold general body meeting in Dharmshala.

Dharamsala: The NDPT has scheduled its 3rd General Body Meeting on coming 27th and 28th of March 2010. The meeting, that is usually held in May, has been proponed to facilitate members to prepare for forthcoming elections for Kalon Tripa and Parliament.
According to NDPT, This year’s General Body meeting will be very significant as the party is going to file three candidates for Kalon Tripa, and also 15 candidates for the forthcoming parliament elections.
On 29th March 2010, the NDPT will hold a press conference to announce the candidates it will endorse and to kick off the campaign which will reach every Tibetan settlement in India.
NDPT is the only political party exists in exiled Tibetan community, which was introduced by Tibetan Youth Congress, currently serves as one of the NGO, which from time to time joins with other NGO in many activities.
