World community should extend political support to Tibetan freedom struggle and help Tibetans- Chime Youngdung

Since, HH Dalai Lama has decided to devolve his political powers to a democratically elected government in exile after election of Lobsang Sangey, as Prime Minister of exile government and his background of Tibetan Youth Congress has not only attracted many Tibetan Youth towards Tibetan struggle for freedom. But, also towards Tibetan Youth Congress.
Tibetan Youth Congress also has credit of forming the only political party of exile Tibetans namely National Democratic Party of Tibet.
National Democratic Party of Tibet’s president Mr. Chime Youngdung feels that the recent round of self immolations taking place inside Tibet resemble the anger and anguish of Tibetan people against Chinese occupation and control of Tibet for last many years. The aim and objective of these self immolations is clearly freedom from Chinese control and return of HH Dalai Lama to Tibet.
China has been repressing the Tibetans for last 60 years with brutality and barbarism and world community has been extending sympathy to Tibetans inside Tibet and in exile for last sixty years. Now, time has come for international community to rise above statements of sympathy and pressurize Chinese officials to restore basic human rights of Tibetans in side Tibet.
Mr. Youngdung also told that Tibetans have not reached to stage where one decides such drastic steps like self immolation in one or two days. They have started this after facing years of atrocities, barbarism and brutality.
Mr. Chime Youngdung also appealed to world community to come forward and extend political support to Tibetan government in exile to pressurize Chinese officials to ensure restoration of Human rights for Tibetans inside and outside Tibet.
